i officially hate the summer. it's a hundred million degrees outside. and then the days start blurring together... until i can't remember what day of the week it is...

then there's the fact that i've got a to do list that's approximately 18 miles long... but all i feel like doing is lounging around reading books and watching TV and day dreaming about my sister's new swimming pool (38 daaaaaaays!).

i need some motivation or something. somebody wanna lend me some?

today is my Mom's Birthday!

seems kinda extra special this year, cause, ya know, we're just really glad she's here!

she didn't want a party, so instead we got chinese food for lunch, and ice cream for later, and rented a stack of movies out of the red box. which sounds about perfect, because it's supposed to be 101 or something ridiculous today! (if it's doing this in June, it means it's going to be up around 106 the entire month of August.. waaaaaaaah!).

anywho... if you have her email address you need to send her a birthday email. it would totally make her day!
